Mio Unveils New DVR and Tablet Product Range at Computex 2015
Full product range for in-vehicle electronic devices and professional tablets
TAIPEI, 1st June, 2015—Mio, a subsidiary of MiTAC International Corp., will showcase its comprehensive line of products at Computex Taipei 2015, including the company’s in-vehicle electronic devices — the MiVue™ series of in-vehicle drive recorders, the Combo series of 4-in-1 drive recorders integrated with navigation functionality, the MITIRE series tire pressure monitoring systems, and the MiRaD series radar detectors. Other products on display include the Mio Cyclo series for a better bicycle navigation experience and the company’s upgraded professional tablets for the medical, POS, and fleet management environments.
Comprehensive In-vehicle Electronic Products to Enrich Driver Safety on the Road
This year, Mio introduces the new MiVue™ 6 series, featuring 1296p Super HD video recording quality and F1.8 (F2.0 in some models) aperture to provide clearer and wider-angle video. MiVue™ 6 series also introduced a Wi-Fi feature on selected models, which allows users to backup video to the Internet with a single button click.
The MiVue™ R30 rear mirror digital video recorder (DVR) received positive recognition with the 2015 Computex Best Choice Award.
At just 12mm thick (9mm at its thinnest point) and featuring a 4.3-inch screen, the MiVue™ R30 is the ideal in-car rear-mirror DVR for any motor vehicle. The MiVue™ R30 is the first 1296p Super HD rear-mirror DVR, and features six (6) glass elements to let in more light than comparable plastic components. MiVue™ DVRs captures video with sharper image quality and more vivid colors, whether recording in the day or at night.
Mio will also showcase our new the MiTIRE series tire pressure monitoring system, as well as the MiRaD series radar detector. The MiTIRE series includes both internal and external sensor-transmitters that allow users to monitor their tire pressure by linking the transmitters to their DVR devices. MiRaD series supports detection on the X, K, Ka, Ku bands, as well as Strelka and Robot multi-type radar systems, ensuring that drivers are always aware of speed detector cams on the road.
A Full Range of Tablet Products for Medical, POS and Fleet Management Environments
Mio will showcase its full range of professional tablets featuring coated polycarbonate disinfectable surfaces, top-level IP67 rated for water resistance and tested for one-meter drop resistance. These tough tablets also integrate 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth® 4.0.
The MioCARE series enables healthcare professionals to access and upload patient data during their workflow. The new A500 series is designed with a 5-inch screen, providing easier one-hand use. A500 series integrates barcode scanning, NFC, and a portable battery, allowing users to collect and upload patient information directly from the bedside.
Specifically designed for POS environments, the new MioWORK A110 series is IP54-rated for water resistance and tested for one-meter drop resistance. The A110 series has passed long-term burn-in testing and utilizes a hot swappable battery, making it a more reliable tablet for the POS environment.
The MioWORK L70 series integrates NFC functionality for driver identification, and features free APIs that facilitate the development of a complete solution. The device comes with a quick-release vehicle cradle for reliable mounting and better cable management within the vehicle.
